We hope you like this website's design and we would like to point out a few features.  The home page has a Flash Slideshow, with time senitive links.  If you click in the slideshow, you will be taken to the website that was the current slide when you clicked.  This is not particularly difficult to do, but most website designers cannot do it because they do not know Adobe Flash well.  You will see Scrollbars on this and other pages, again something easy to do if you have the proper tools and experience.  Again, most designers do not have the proper tools or experience.

There are many different types of websites:

• Some, such as this website, are primarily promotional, a glorified business card.
• eCommerce websites have a lot more technical features, a "store" of items people can select, a Shopping Cart where people can see what they are buying with shipping charges and other fees, and finally a secure checkout area.
• The final type is something CIT is uniquely qualified to create, a business website.  Many businesses need a database so people use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or Access on a laptop.  Which causes a business nightmare when the laptop is stolen or cannot be booted up.  CIT has the ability to put your database on a server that you can access from the Internet.  There are many other business applications, please think about what your business practices are and how they could be better if you had real Information Technology support.  CIT provides real Information Technology services, at a price most small businesses can afford.

Search Engine Optimization

SEO is the art and science of modifying a website so that Google, Yahoo, Bing, and other Search Engines can properly rank that website.  The goal is to get as high a Search Rank as possible.  When a potential customer searches for a product or service your business provides, you want your website to appear as "high" as possible.  Preferably at the top of the first page.  You don't want to be burried in the middle of the fifth page.
